Nemu — Anime Tracker ("Nemu") is an iOS application developed by Anchorpoint Software LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data Nemu does and does not collect.
The short version: Nemu does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All your data stays on your device.
All user data — including your anime shelf, episode progress, and ratings — is stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to Anchorpoint Software or any third party.
We do not operate servers that store user data. There is no cloud sync, no user accounts, and no remote database.
Nemu uses the AniList GraphQL API to search for anime titles and retrieve metadata (such as titles, descriptions, episode counts, and cover images). These are read-only queries. No personal data, user identifiers, or device information is sent to AniList as part of these requests.

Nemu may offer in-app purchases, which are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit framework. Anchorpoint Software LLC does not process, collect, or store any payment or billing information. All transactions are managed by Apple in accordance with their privacy policy and App Store terms.

Because Nemu does not collect any personal data, it complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations. No data is collected from users of any age.
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new effective date. Because Nemu does not collect data, material changes are unlikely.
